What is Bit Merge?

Bit Merge is a browser physics puzzle about dropping jewel energy orbs into a brass-and-glass reactor. When two equal Bit tiers touch, they combine into a larger tier and increase your score. Aim carefully to build chains without filling the danger line at the top. Each daily reactor uses the same deterministic preview sequence, while endless mode lets you chase a personal best and the highest Bit tier.

How to play Bit Merge

  1. Drag left or right across the reactor to aim the next orb, then release to drop it.
  2. Match two equal Bit tiers to create the next, larger tier.
  3. Restart for a fresh reactor; a rewarded clear-space option appears only after an overflow when supported.

Tips

  • Drop matching low tiers close together so they have room to merge before the reactor fills.
  • Keep larger orbs low and away from the danger line because they are harder to reposition.
  • Watch the next-orb preview before choosing a side of the reactor for the current drop.

What to notice on your first run

The reactor is narrow enough for each drop to matter, but the physics stays readable: a matched pair pops into the next tier instead of vanishing unpredictably. Aim with a drag, release once the cradle is over useful space, and watch the next preview before deciding where the current orb should land. The danger line adds pressure only when the stack truly reaches it.

Why this mechanic works in a short session

A run begins with an immediate drop and turns every merge into a visible little celebration. You can stop after a few satisfying combinations or keep playing for a tense high-score chase as the reactor fills. Deterministic daily previews preserve the same core feel while giving returning players a shared sequence to solve more cleanly.
